For boys ages 13-15
We will do a brief workout working on good form and muscle engagement with exercise and lifting weights, including core strength. However, the majority of each session will be focused on deep stretching.
Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage. Tight muscles also often happen along with rapid bone and/or muscle growth making stretching important regardless of the level of activity of each person.
