What's The Root Of Your Intention?

Join Allie Dienger as she offers the community a harmonizing flow on her return to Wisconsin. Learning to love yourself is a daily practice. We will travel into the practice of self love, both on and off the mat.

Being alone with yourself is the catalyst to this growth. Come unroll your mat to soothe your essence with love. We will sit. We will move. We will flow. We will reflect. Bringing all these pieces together in harmony.

Come and be. Show up as you are to indulge in the greatness of being. Reconnect with your breath, with the mere simplicity of being alive. Bring your journal. Bring your open mind. And bring yourself, just as you are, a living organism capable of being aware of your own existence. Come be present. It may be scary, but it's not dangerous. In fact it's juicy and intimate and amazing when we let it be. The bliss of being in a body. Dwell in the yumminess of you.

Centered in your heart space, you will walk off your mat with tools to implement wherever you find yourself existing.

Spots are limited so be sure to pre-register.

Yoga-Drum Embodiment Class

7:00 PM19:00

Yoga-Drum Embodiment Class

Join guest teachers James and Teela in a powerful class designed to bring you deeper into your human experience. Their integrative “reHumanization" practice will be distilled into some of its most potent experiential elements for this 90 minute class - yoga, primal movement, neurosensory exercises, live drumming, meditation (through Theta drum entrainment), Reiki, and more. It will begin with soulful Vinyasa Flow-style Yoga, designed to enhance body awareness, increase intuitive connection, and move stale energy. Live drumming will accompany you as you create heat throughout the flow. In addition to moving and creating more energy, the drum will lead your breath and bring you home to its power. As you rest into your final savasana, the drum will offer you one final gift. Through a process called “entrainment,” your brainwaves will sync to the beat of the drum, reducing the speed of your mind effortlessly to the meditative and healing “Theta-state.” You’ll float in this state until we bring you back at the end of the class, all the while receiving Reiki and the healing resonance of the drum.

All levels are welcome!

Important notes:
- Drum entrainment directly affects the brainwaves. Discretion is advised for those with a history of epilepsy.
- This is an 18+ event
- Don't forget to bring a mat and water.

Spring-Clean Your Chakras Workshop

Spring-Clean Your Chakras Workshop

Ah, spring! Now that winter has passed, it’s time to clear the cobwebs out of our bodies’ nooks and crannies and polish off our chakras! In yoga and Ayurveda, there are thought to be 7 chakras (or points of spiraling energy) along the length of the spine, beginning at the tailbone and ending at the top of the head. In this 2-hour workshop we will complete a series of Yin postures followed by a guided meditation, done with the intention of de-cluttering the chakras so energy can freely flow between them. Cost: $20

*YA-registered yoga teachers who take the chakra workshop will be eligible for continuing education hours and can request a certificate from the Yoga Alliance.

Drumming Alive! Yoga and Drumming Fusion Workshop

Drumming Alive! Yoga and Drumming Fusion Workshop

You have all the knowledge and wisdom of the universe within you. Let’s talk about how to access it. This workshop will begin with body-wisdom concepts and ways that we can access this wisdom for application in our everyday lives. You’ll come away with a greater understanding of how to hear what your body is desperately trying to say.
Next comes a soulful Vinyasa Flow-style Yoga, designed to enhance body awareness, increase intuitive connection, and move stale energy. Live drumming will accompany us as we create heat throughout the flow. In addition to moving and creating more energy in our practice, the drum will lead our breath by signaling the inhales and exhales. Intentional breathing is one of the most important things we can do on and off the mat. Put simply, an intentional breath is a healing breath, and the drum will bring you home to its power.
As you rest into your final savasana, the drum will offer you one final gift. Through a process called “entrainment,” your brainwaves will sync to the beat of the drum, reducing the speed of your mind effortlessly to the meditative “theta-state.” You’ll float in this state until we bring you back at the end of the workshop, all the while receiving Reiki and the healing resonance of the drum.
The DRUMMING ALIVE workshop is a fusion of yoga, drum healing, Reiki, and body-wisdom teachings that will help you to:
- Enter a deep meditative theta-state (i.e. deep peace & intuition) effortlessly via Drum Entrainment
- Move stagnant energy in Soul-flow Vinyasa Yoga
- Change your cells' vibration with Live Drumming
- Connect to the Healing Power of your breath
- Bathe in the healing energy of Reiki
- Learn to hear the authentic Wisdom of your body

Clarity & Contentment: A yoga and journaling workshop

Winter provides an opportunity to slow down and reflect on our world.  Hot yoga, much like the Finnish use of saunas, helps cleanse the mind and soul while tempering winter’s icy grip. In turn, the cold days, long dark evenings, and freshly fallen snow provide an excellent backdrop for practicing both heated yoga and journaling. Each of these practices help reveal the deep truths of our souls that lie just below the surface. Much like shoveling a path through the snow, we make our lives easier to navigate with every truth we reveal. Embrace the flow of a yoga practice and your journaling flow to enrich your life, moving toward greater content (ha, ha) and contentment. No experience necessary, bring something to write in!

Cost for 3-hour workshop:

$20, members $15

Partner Yoga - CANCELED

The basic definition of yoga is yoke or union – the uniting of mind and body. This idea can be applied to practicing yoga with a partner as well, with benefits including improved communication, being able to go deeper in poses or hold them longer, the encouragement of trust between partners, and the growth of our practice to include those outside ourselves.

“Couple’s yoga is so much more than a simple yoga practice. When you merge your practice with another’s, you fall into sync with that person. Your breath, movement, and body positions find a rhythm together. Because of this, practicing couple’s yoga can lead to some of the most intimate and fulfilling times you’ll spend together. While yoga can be a serious practice that requires effort and focus, there’s something about couple’s yoga that allows you to be more lighthearted. First of all, getting into a couple’s yoga pose is kind of like playing Twister. You need to figure out where all the hands, arms, and feet go, and then you have to hold the pose once you get there. Just figuring out how to get into a pose can lead to a fair amount of laughter.” – The Chopra Center
