This Meditative Sound Experience, meant for any level of Yogic experience, is deeply relaxing and nonintrusive. The goal of Sound Meditation is to provide a meditative environment that has the potential to relax, improve health, explore inwards and reach the true teacher and ultimate intelligence within all of us

Participants sit or lay comfortably on their yoga mat with feet positioned toward the front of the room where the bowls are arranged. With lights dimmed and the room at a comfortable temperature, the Sound Experience begins with a guided meditation, Tuvan Throat Singing and Chakra Mantra. Then the singing bowls are brought to life and participants are immersed in beautiful, multilayered vibrations and tones.

This wellness experience will create more coherence, synchronicity, and connection between mind, body, and spirit. Benefits include but are not limited to stress relief, deeper relaxation, balancing of the nervous system, improving focus and mental clarity, and reducing depression and anxiety.
Before the session, there will be a short talk on intention setting, surrender/receptiveness, and courage. Prepare yourself by bringing some intention in mind with you, some goal you would like to accomplish, whether it is based on service to others or service to self. Jordan Moon will then play crystal singing bowls, metal singing bowls, gong, bells, chimes, and cymbals as you lay comfortably supported on your mat.

Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage. Tight muscles also often happen along with rapid bone and/or muscle growth making stretching important regardless of the level of activity of each person.

Mindfulness for Our Current Times Course with Diane Matzke

6 Week Course on Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm - 6:30pm starting November 10, 2020 through December 15, 2020.

With life's new challenges the last six months this is an exceptional time to step into a new way of being! Mindfulness is a set of practices that can help us respond to these challenges with more ease.

During this course, Mindfulness for Our Current Times, we will use Mindfulness Practices to navigate the adjustments people have needed to make in their lives. We will start with a basic practice and then add new skills each week. The skills will include Mindfulness of breath, the body, our thoughts, our emotions, and compassion for ourselves/others. 

The course will be six weeks for an hour each week. We will do a review, check-in, talk and new practice each week. Our intent is to support each other to help ride the waves of our current times.

To fully experience the benefits of this course we require a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 10 participants. For this course you will have the option to sit on a chair or your mat. Feel free to bring a pillow or anything that will make sitting more comfortable for you.

Registration is due by 11/08/20, the cost is $60 for the full 6 week course.

We will open our chakras using a Shamanic Journey Technique and a Singing Bowl Sound Bath to release what no longer serves us and bring in renewed energy to assist us to navigate the coming months.

PFY TRI with Jamie, Tammy, and Carla

Join some of our PFY staff for our run, tone, and flow event! This event will kick off with a 2 mile run or 1 mile walk, followed with a 45 min Tone class, ending with a Flow & Yin class including deep stretching of the hips and legs by Carla. Each participant will have the choice of the run or walk with Jamie and Tammy. The Tone class will be led by Tammy at a high intensity pace, while Jamie, at her side leads the same class with lower intensity with modified movements, assisting with form as needed. This event is designed for everyone with all fitness levels in mind.
