Full Moon Flow Class

Celebrate and honor the Full Sturgeon Moon.

The full moon is a powerful, beautiful time to let go of what no longer serves us, set and manifest new intentions, and move mindfully. Just like the ocean tides, the full moon alters our bodies' own rhythms. Lunar qualities include reflection, introspection, receptiveness, and illumination. During a full moon we can draw from these qualities to find inspiration on how to breathe, move, and meditate. During our lunar practice we should move into the right brain, or the more creative and intuitive part of ourselves. In order to achieve this, this practice will include postures that bring your gaze inward and encourage release and renewal, such as Chandra Namaskars (Moon Salutations), forward folds, hip openers, gentle supported backbends, and Yin postures.
