Pilates for Yogis: Enhance your yoga practice with the Pilates method

Great focus is given to precise and nuanced strengthening of the core muscles in Pilates. This gives better, more consistent results in all balancing poses, inversions and core postures like navasana, as well as educating your body to keep a good posture and a neutral spine. Pilates will train your body to maintain healthy alignment at all times, including adjusting the position of your head in relation to your upper body, and gives you amazing core strength, helping with jumping through from down dog, for example.
